Milk in 1st glass = $${1}/{2}$$ unit;

Milk in 2nd glass = $${3}/{4}$$ unit.

Water in 1st glass = $${1}/{2}$$ unit.

Water in 2nd glass = $${1}/{4}$$ unit.

∴ Required ratio = $${½ + ¾} / {½ + ¼}$$ = $${5/4} ×{4/3}$$ = 5 : 3.

Ratio of sides = $${1}/{2} : {1}/{3} : {1}/{4}$$ = 6 : 4 : 3.

Let the sides be 6x, 4x and 3x.

Then, 6x + 4x + 3x = 104 or 13x = 104 or x = 8.

∴ Longest side = 6x = (6 × 8) m = 48 m.

The bus fare and train of a place from Kolkata were Rs.20 and Rs.30 respectively. Train fare has been increased by 20% and the bus fare has been increased by 10%. The ratio of new train fare to new bus fare is
