Wine, wealth and women are the root cause of quarrels in the world. In the case of alcohol or wine, women do accompany it, but wealth keeps away from drunkard. Hence it is better to prohibit consumption of liquor, the mother of evils in the world.
The evils of drinking are well known. It is not only expensive but also deteriorating for the mind and body of the habitual drunkard.
The argument that liquor industry provides employment is specious, for jobs for a few means destruction of millions of families.
Consumption of alcohol is not only an evil by itself as moralist suggest but also a cause of other adverse repercussions; it weakens the intellectual power of drunkards and they don’t hesitate to commit rapes, thefts, murders under its influence.
