What is the difference between command line interface and graphical user interface?

In command line interface, we have to remember cryptic commands and type them without mistakes. To make things worse some operating systems are case sensitive also LS, LS, IS or LS are not same. A simple spelling mistake or missed space will result in an error. Windows displays all the information on the screen and all we have to do is to point and select using the mouse, with its GUI.
