Today politics involves agitations, strikes, demonstrations which often lead to violence and consequent arrest of the leaders. While violence may hurt him fatally, imprisonment will surely result in break in their studies.
While our education teaches us honesty, fairplay, justice, truthfulness, performance of our duties, social helpfulness, selflessness, patriotism, clarity, humility, etc.
Politics teaches us just the opposite – dishonesty, corruption, slander, backbiting, falsity, selfishness, pride, etc. Thus, politics can suit only faceless and unprincipled people. Students must build their character during their education while politics destroys it.
The primary duty of students is to devote their energy and attention to their studies. They should not waste their time on politics which is devil’s game.
Instead, they should justify the great momentary sacrifices of their parents by shunning politics altogether and getting education.
In exceptional occasions of great national importance, students may take part in politics, and that too, for a short period only; but, generally speaking, politics should be none of their business.
